The phrase is Herman Melville's; the sentiment is mine. A blog based on my sketchbooks is what you get.

In Tongues Illustrated Future Past #5
"Still keener hunters," long before I was thinking about this blog, is a line I copped from Herman Melville's Confidence-Man, but the sentiment is in fact mine.
I externalize randomness in my sketchbooks for later use towards more, arguably, linear means, or, on the other hand (file under: never let your left hand know what your right hand is doing), as an end unto itself. The sketchbook, following, is not unlike the processes of life, at least, my life.
Sometimes here I magnify certain elements for perusal, sometimes I will let the full picture breathe. The additional commentary by myself that appears alongside the images should be read as if one is viewing the sketchbook in person with yours unruly; this commentary provided could be disconnectedly abstracted, just plain autobiographical, or downright misleading.
