The phrase is Herman Melville's; the sentiment is mine. A blog based on my sketchbooks is what you get.

Eat it. Sit on it. Smell it.
The text is from some graffiti that was written with dry erase markers on one of the freezers back in the kitchen of Gumbo Ya Ya.I just put down in cartoony loony language what the words inspired.
I externalize randomness in my sketchbooks for later use towards more, arguably, linear means, or, on the other hand (file under: never let your left hand know what your right hand is doing), as an end unto itself. The sketchbook, following, is not unlike the processes of life, at least, my life.
Sometimes here I magnify certain elements for perusal, sometimes I will let the full picture breathe. The additional commentary by myself that appears alongside the images should be read as if one is viewing the sketchbook in person with yours unruly; this commentary provided could be disconnectedly abstracted, just plain autobiographical, or downright misleading.
